Community is at the heart of everything we do
We work locally with community groups, care homes and schools as a way to reach out to new people. AiR community artists work together with groups of adults, children and support staff, encouraging creative and social collaboration.
Co-creating arts projects in this way helps to bring about new ideas. We are happy to have made a positive impact on the lives of people who have felt uplifted, encouraged and welcomed by our approach.
Over the years we are pleased to have built relationships with lots of other organisations in Thanet. Our history of partnerships includes working with:
Thanet's Recovery and Wellbeing College that helps people take control, feel hopeful and become experts in their own wellbeing and recovery.
East Kent Mencap, a charity that supports adults and children with a learning disability to become more independent.
Liberty Training who help young people aged 16-25 develop employability and life skills.
Do you have an idea for a community project?
If you would like to have a chat about how our organisations could work together please email a little bit of information about yourselves and your project idea to firstname.lastname@example.org.
